What Knight of Wands means

The horse rears at full gallop, the wand levels forward like a lance, and the rider commits with a completeness that skips hesitation entirely, the way people do when the idea itself is doing the deciding. The Knight carries fire by chasing it, and the chase runs on total intensity, no second-guessing and no brakes.

From the ground, the rearing horse reads as a rider who's lost command, recklessness in its final form. The tunic argues back. Its woven salamanders are the old emblem of fire that survives its own burning, passion with a channel cut for it, and they mark the difference between a crash in progress and a charge that knows exactly where it's going. Bold action first; details later, and on purpose.

Blocked. Saddled and ready, but the gate won't open.

Internal. The charge happens nightly, but the horse has not left the yard.

Excess. Charging at everything, so nothing gets the full charge.

Shadow. Gone before the dust settles, every time, and nothing ever finishes.

Chasing is the Knight's rung on the court ladder, the pursuit turned outward at full speed. Where the Page stood still in the desert studying the wand, the Knight tears through the same landscape mid-charge. One rung up, the fire stops being chased at all, because the Queen has already made it home.
