What Two of Wands means
The spark has been caught, and now it costs something. The figure stands on a castle battlement, everything already built holding them up, with a small globe in one hand and the sea stretching out below. Of the two wands, one is bolted to the wall and one is held freely, and that pair is the whole card: the stable path and the open one, both real, both yours. The question underneath has sharpened from what do I want into am I willing to go get it.
Newcomers often read the two wands as a partnership, two people building one vision, or as simple arithmetic, double the raw energy of the Ace. Both readings miss what the picture insists on. One figure stands alone with a decision, and the second wand marks the fork in the road. Vision and planning live here, the deliberate work that happens before any leap.

Blocked. Your plan for the bigger move is ready, but you're waiting on the money or the go-ahead to start.
Internal. The bigger future you want is clear in your mind, but none of it is on paper yet.
Excess. You plan and weigh your options until the planning replaces the move itself.
Shadow. Your safe position feels so comfortable that you talk yourself out of leaving it.
