What Three of Wands means

The deciding is over and the doing has started to answer back. Three wands stand planted on the cliff, the ships are out on golden water, and the figure watches from a high vantage earned by commitment. Plans are in motion and the first results are unfolding: the launched project with its first signups, the applications out in the world, the art posted where people can finally respond. The energy of the card is a sentence with no anxiety in it: I set this in motion, and it's working.

The ships invite a lazy reading, that this card means waiting for your ships to come in, fortune drifting shoreward on the tide. The figure on the cliff would disagree. Those ships sailed because somebody sent them; the watching is the reward for action already taken, hope with receipts behind it.
